Meet MTAG owner and Head Trainer Former NFL Player Raymond Webber

Raymond Webber is a retired NFL wide receiver who holds a collegiate career reception record that only NFL superstar Jerry Rice has surpassed and who later played with five teams in a pro career challenged with injuries. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Raymond attended Cleveland NJROTC High School in South Saint Louis. After transferring to Clyde C. Miller Career Academy in his sophomore year, he was not allowed to play any sports for his first year, but still attended practice and worked out with his teammates which ultimately excelled him in 4 sports at Career Academy:basketball, football, baseball and track.

Raymond Later attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he majored in business marketing and became a four year letterman in football. He has held UAPB’s records for receptions in a game, yards in a game, receptions in a single season, yards in a single season, receptions in a career and yards in a career, He ended his senior season becoming the second player in Southwestern Athletic Conference to ever record 100 receptions in a single season (101) Jerry rice holds the record at 103.

Raymond went to the NFL, playing his rookie year for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a season cut short by a torn hamstring. He subsequently played for the Seattle Seahawks and then in the same year with the New York Jets, but again injury shortened his season. He finished career in 2014 after spending time with the Green Bay Packers and ending his career with the Miami Dolphins where a broken finger sidelined him. Webber also spent time win the CFL, UFL and AFL respectively.

He currently lives in Augusta Georgia, he has three beautiful daughters and a lovely wife. He is the founder and owner of More than A game athlete development center (MTAG).
